Harvesters U16 South were in league action at Enfield White in a double header knowing that a win in both would secure the title. The boys started well but kept finding the Enfield centre backs who were in good form.
On 14 minutes the Enfield keeper punted the ball deep into the Harvesters half and an Enfield player was quickest to react and scored.
Heads didn’t drop and the boys kept trying to play their slick passing game but the Enfield defence were solid. Ryan Mason was in fine form making saves to keep the boys in the match but in the search for an equaliser the boys were punished by a second Enfield goal when th3 shot wasn’t closed down.
Enfield held on for a 2-0 win and the boys were beaten in the league for the first time this season.
