Looking the part...

On a windswept afternoon, the Leopards were looking tip top in their new training gear as they warmed up for the fixture against their friends and Harvesters teammates in the shape of the Pumas. Whilst the EPL game kicking off at the same time failed to provide any goals, it did not take the Leopards long to get into their stride, scoring 5 goals in the first 12 minutes. Milo Hegarty with a hat trick of assists on the day neatly set up Samuel O’Hare in the box for the 1st goal. The pair then swapped roles with Sam passing to Milo for the 2nd Leopards goal. Jonah Howgego playing on the right wing, pressed and won the ball before getting his 9th of the season. Sam as calm as ever when in the box, placed the 4th past the keeper. Captain George Small had already managed to hit the crossbar from outside the box before he scored with a shot from the edge of the box. Daniel Austin showed us some skills when under pressure and dribbled through 3 Pumas before calmly passing the ball into midfield. Michael Bird playing on the left linked up well with the LW and also identified when to recirculate or play forward. Just before the halftime whistle, Michael passed to Harris Young who used some skills to get past a defender before passing the ball into the net beyond the keeper.
Sam completed his hat trick with his 17th goal of the season after being put through by Jack Horne playing at RB. Sam completed a good day after setting up George who lobbed the keeper from outside the box. Milo worked tirelessly as CF, completed his hat trick of assists with a neat pass across the box for Harris to score with his weaker foot. The Leopards completed their scoring for the day with a 10th goal from Jack, after receiving the ball a few yards outside the box, he scored with a lopping shot into the top corner. Well done to Daniel McKinstry for taking on board the training he does on a Friday night and working on his distribution.
