Northwood Reds v Leopards

On another lovely autumn morning the U9 Leopards put in a good performance against Northwood Reds. The team led by captain of the day Jack Horne took on board the training from the previous day and played some wonderful passing moves. The Leopards opened their account with a nice move from Milo down the right wing before setting up Jonah in the box. The second came straight from the kick off when Jonah applied pressure and won the ball off the opponent before scoring from just outside the box. Leopards third didn’t take too long to arrive when a nice move between George, Harris and Jonah ended up with the ball just crossing the line from a shot by Harris. All the way through Dan, Michael and Jack were putting in the tackles along with Dan in goal doing his part. The Leopards scored a further two goals in the second half, the first of which came from a lovely diagonal ball beyond the defenders from Milo to set-up Harris for his second. The last Leopards goal was taken by Sam with his 9th of the season, after he followed up on a shot by George. The Northwood manager complemented the boys on how they play football and this was well received by the boys.
