Not Evan the rain can stop us!

What a cold wet Sunday afternoon!
Not the usual slow start, maybe the rain kept them awake! Great pressure from the start, lumley putting his long ball to Paul to give us a few shots at goal. Play also was great down the wings and through the middle, mehenge staying strong and controlling the ball well. As ever, defence were strong, Patel, Taylor and bowey, leaving little for Boulter to do, but making great saves when needed. It wasn't long before we got on the score sheet with Paul making a great run to go 1-0 up.
We still had control of the game with lots of chances but with some great opposition goalkeeping and crossbars it weren't to be...just yet.
A free kick to rangers on the edge of the box saw them bring it level with an unsaveable shot. 1-1
Kick off after the goal saw Paul pass it back to Lumley playing it up field to butcher who ran on and scored. 2-1
Shortly after hills comes on and running through the middle of the park receives a perfect pass from maimon to slot it into the bottom corner. 3-1 half time
Second half kicked off and still dominating play. Proudlock bulling and chan making some great tackles and holding up well in midfield.
Still strong in defence and dealing with what came at them, the ball goes out for a corner. Great corner for rangers and a volley brings it to 3-2 .
Not worried by the score the boys still dominated more chances and a great run from mehenge saw him hit the post but hills was ther for the rebound to bag his second 4-2
More of the same, strong attacking footbal, more chances go amiss but lots to be proud of. A run up the wing from hills sees him cut inside and shots from the byline. Is it in??? Sneaking in and through the net it's his hat trick and brings the score to 5-2.
