Nail biting stuff!

Welcome back everyone and hope you all enjoyed the break.
Think the boys got used to not playing for a few weeks as maybe some thought they were still on holidays! Which saw us go 0-1 down in the first few minutes. But as always they woke up and got there legs working with there brains and had good hold of the game. We played some excellant football with a solid defence, with lumley being solid as ever in defence working well with bowey and Taylor. Boulter was on top form today making some brave saves, a dodgy free kick to the opposition gave them the lead leaving Boulter little chance to save it
The boys stepped up and hills came on for bulling making some good runs down the wings linking up nicely with Paul and mehenge. It wasn't long before Paul brought it level to go I at half time 1-1
Second half started strong with plenty of chances and great play. Paul was on the score sheet for the second time. Both him and butcher had a few chances but a good job from there keeper ment it weren't to be.
The last 10 minutes was quite nail biting with end to end stuff. We thought we had snatched the win but the goal was disallowed for offside.
A good strong performance from the boys for the start of the new year.
