It ain't won 'till the final whistle

A very cold Sunday afternoon started off with conceding an early goal. Time for the boys to wake up! And boy did they. As last week showed the passing game wins it all day. Paul, butcher, mehenge and hills linking up like a dream, and so came the equalizer from hills. Maimon also holding up in the midfield and making great use of the wings. Defence also holding up strong with both bowey and lumley dealing with all that came at hem. As always Tommy using his head and lumleys winning most of the balls to keep it out of our own half. With continued outstanding play 4 more goals came, 2 from Paul and 2 from mehenge, going in at half time 5-1 up.
Then comes the second half! A bit of a struggle maybe cold brains set in! Proudlock, bulling and Taylor on for second half. We had a few chances from chan and bulling. There was some great play out to Proudlock and maimon and Paul having a few missed opportunities but we were given a wake up call when we conceded 3 goals in the second half.
We did get a 6th from Paul putting him on a hat trick and finishes the game with a 6-4 win.
