Great start to new season

First of we would like to welcome you all back and hope you all had a very good summer break. Secondly, we would like to welcome a few new additions to our team, Oliver butcher, steward manage and idan maimon. Welcome to harvester east and hope you enjoy the team, the boys are happy to have you join them.
Now let's get down to business!
After a long summer break the boys got off to a flying start with Paul bagging the first goal of the new season, after making a run down the center of the park. The boys continued playing well making some terrific passes and having plenty possession. New boys butcher, mehenge and maimon settled in very well making up an excellant midfield. Maimon saw lots of the ball and was getting lots of tackles in a making great runs and passes. Butcher also proved to be a solid player also making good runs and passes. The second goal came from a short corner from hills to Paul and back to hills, firing it into the back of the net ( with a small deflection) but clearly hills was claiming it.
With the defence rarely being called upon, bowey lumley and Patel had an easy time with a few clearances. Patel was doing a great job helping out midfield allowing possession mainly to be ours. The 3rd goal came from mehenge he showed his power and buried it in the back of the net. There was plenty more chances of goals, lumley having a go as was bulling making some good attacks. Paul and mehenge continued using there power but with posts and some great goalkeeping left the score at 3-0 as half time came.
Second half gave Boulter a chance to come into action making some excellant saves. Again midfield maimon proving strong and hardworking and making a perfect pass to hills to bag his second of the match. The defence with Taylor now in for bowey were called into action making some good clearance and Boulter pulling off some great saves bit whetstone pulled one back.
With all the boys pulling together staying really solid in midfield, chan was weaving through the field making some great tackles.
Another run from Paul saw his second of the match.
A few minutes from the end whetstone pulled a second goal back bring it to 5-2
With only seconds to spare butcher when on a run and he also bagged his first goal for his new club
Great game real team effort out there today
Man of the maimon! Well done
