Harvesters East 4 Alyth Belsize 1

Harvesters put in a solid performance to beat Alyth Belsize 4 - 1 on a sunny Sunday afternoon. After a scrappy first 15 minutes Harvesters slowly got control of the game. Mid way through the first half Owen O'Sullivan put a great ball into the box, after Belsize failed to defend it, Max Smith neatly slotted in into the corner of the goal. Belsize broke away on a few occasions but Bobby Milner and Owen O'Sullivan made some great last minute blocks. Just before half time Flynn Cairns curled a long range effort from distance to give Harvesters a 2 nil lead at the break.

The team were not fully switched on as the 2nd half started and that allowed Belsize in for a sloppy goal to make it 2 -1.

The game then became very tight for most of the 2nd half and the result could have gone either way. But Flynn Cairns came of the bench to score two wonder strikes late on to win the game for Harvesters and bag himself a hatrick.
