Harvesters crush Borehamwood

Harvesters U12 East put in an excellent all round team performance beat Borehamwood Youth 7 nil. Harvesters were well disciplined and energetic right from the kick off. Flynn Cairns scored two fabulous goals, one a cracker from outside the box. Max Tym bagged a hat-rick, the first was a stunning 20 yard strike. Cameron Wilson and Niall Watson scored a goal apiece the latter one after a very brave header from Bobby Milner.

Whilst it's pleasing to score so many goals it was pleasing to defend well and avoid letting in any goals. That is down to the organisation of the defence and a disciplined midfield performance.

The team applied a number of the lessons they had learnt from a few tough games recently played. If they can sustain the intensity of their play in the upcoming league games they will hopefully be challenging towards the top of the Division.
