Northwood vs Harvesters U12 East

Harvesters lost 6 - 1 to Northwood who play in the White division. The score line was not a fair reflection of the game. Harvesters started very strongly and quickly took the lead when Flynn Cairns lobbed the keeper from outside the box. Harvesters were strong and organised for most of the half but let in a well taken equaliser midway through the half. Harvesters had another goal ruled out for offside and a chance headed off the line before Northwood scored a second on the stroke of halftime. Harvesters didn't get a chance to play themselves into the second half and quickly let in two very sloppy goals in quick succession. They steadied the ship and got some composure back before two more late Northwood goals.

For most of the game Harvesters competed very well but switched for a short period of time before and after the break and cruelly the game was out of sight. The team has had a run of tough games but if they can continue to combine a more aggressive and combative style with improved organisation then wins in the league are sure to follow.

Flynn Cairns had a good game in attack and William Walker was very solid at the back. Max Tym and Joseph Burgess put in a huge amount of effort to try and manage the the midfield.
