The Halloween spirits were against the Leopards as they had to settle for a draw vs HGS Vipers. Despite starting on the front foot the visitors found themselves behind on 15 minutes to a firm header from a left wing corner, but on a a breezy day this did not take the wind out of their sails and a sumptuous Alexander Cairns curving half volley put them deservedly back level. The Vipers goal was living a charmed life with Alex Keenan twice rattling the bar - so it was bitter pill for the Blues to go into the break down again following an unfortunate ricocheted own goal. Josh Allen was giving the HGS defence nightmares down the right flank and his tricks became a treat when he slammed an angled drive into the top corner to level it up once again. In an exciting finish the chaps continued to force the issue coming close several times whilst keeping an eye out for the counter attack - but there were no further ghouls.
