Hendon United took the spoils on Sunday afternoon despite a spirited Harvesters comeback. All looked bright when Ahaan Dean turned in the dangerous Josh Allen's low cross midway through the first period followed by a fine penalty save by Alexander Cairns, but the visitors did hit back before the end of the half and added further goals after the break to leave the chaps with an uphill task. However, to their credit, the boys responded well, piling on the pressure and dragging themselves back into the game - Max Cooper turning in a corner and Freddie Hill firing home powerfully. Time ran out before the comeback could be completed but a number of good performances and individual positives to take into next week.
