Woody's Wanderers v Harvesters Leopards U8's

The Leopards met Woody's Wanderers for the 2nd time this season in a reverse fixture from the opening day. Whilst that clash was keenly fought - the return was rather one sided with the Leopards having to work overtime in an attempt to keep the home side at bay as Woody's forced the pace with impressive individual displays and clinical shooting.

Half time allowed the Leopards to regroup and steel themselves for the 2nd period - which saw a marked improvement in the boys effort as they began to compete physically and create chances of their own with Bailey Holt, Ahaan Dean and Josh Allen all trying the luck before Arthur Pitts sliced the chaps best chance of the game just wide. However, Woody's continued to look dangerous going forward with notable long distance strikes drawing applause from both sets of fans. Marcel Lukasik produced some late heroics in goal to prevent further damage.

Tough day for the boys against a very good side.
