Panthers start the season with a win

In the driving rain the Panthers kicked off the season in good form. Showing little rustiness from 5 months off the boys were quickly in to their passing game and we took an early lead. Theo and Ethan combined well up front with Ethan giving us the lead.

The boys dominated possession and Sam saw a good effort hit the post. Oli was solid as ever at the back and nearly scored on a break away.

As the game wore on the weather started to take its toll and the game became harder and we started to lose our shape, the boys stuck to their task though and some nice play between Wilbur and Jordan saw us fashion another good chance.

Hector made the game safe with 2 well struck goals late on following good running and energy from Freddie.

A great start to the season played in tough conditions, well done boys.
