U13 Girls beaten 3-0 by Kinja

Another even match with nothing to celebrate
Harvesters U13 Girls played their penultimate league match of the season at home to Kinja Hailstorms.
Having won one match each against each other so far this season it was going to be a tight match.
Harvesters had early possession and looked for a goal to put league runners up Kinja on the back foot. Despite the pressure on 5 minutes Kinja broke away at pace and went 1-0 up.
Gracie Ross was alert to any further counter attacks being quick out of her area to clear. Despite further pressure from Harvesters on 31 minutes the ball wasn’t cleared after a couple of attempts and Kinja took advantage to make it 2-0.
On 51 minutes Kinja won the ball without a challenge and broke away to make it 3-0.
On 57 minutes, still with time to get back into it, a Kinja defender controlled the ball with her arm in the penalty area. Despite the referee putting the whistle to his mouth the penalty wasn’t awarded much to the surprise of both managers.
Continued effort from the girls came to nothing although Rheilly Evans went close with a direct free kick.
