Moving to 11aside - current year 7 boys and year 8 girls

By Jess Austin

Season 2019/20

Moving forwards and planning is key in making sure everyone is happy. We know how busy everyone gets and how quickly time goes by so discussions are already underway for the planning of moving from 9 to 11 aside for next season for the current u11’s.

At Harvesters we have to make decisions on how many teams we wish to enter into the league for boys early on, and this is an age group that if we are going to continue running 3 teams we need to ensure that we welcome some new players into the club.

We don’t want to take in any person at the last minute to make up numbers and then find that we have placed them incorrectly in a team so we are asking now if your children could start to ask their friends what their plans are for football next season and you as parents to speak to parents on the sidelines at school games etc too.

We will not approach players as a club they have to come to us and ask. We have a list that we are compiling and then these players will informally be asked to come along to training in the new year to see if they like Harvesters and will enjoy the footballing experience.

Please speak to friends and family and get in touch.
